Hi there,

I was diagnosed with recurrent genital herpes during my college years. My doc prescribed Zovirax to treat genital herpes as a preventative measure, which is also the name of the drug.

The medication is not an antiviral, so I was prescribed Valtrex for the same problem. However, it’s a prescription medication that is used to treat genital herpes. When I first started treatment with Zovirax (Valtrex), it was only an antiviral. I started experiencing severe side effects such as the frequent and painful itching around the genital area and a cold sore around the mouth. I have since had more than one flare-up. The doctor didn’t like this. After the first flare-up, I noticed my body was getting better. I’m considering taking Zovirax to treat this, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

Thanks in advance,

Doctor

Dr. Gardner

I would really appreciate your guidance on how to manage this. I’m thinking about taking a few days off and starting the medication. I’m hoping to keep getting better in a few weeks, and possibly some of my side effects will come back. I think this could be a sign that something is off balance. Please let me know how you plan to manage this.

Thanks for the help,

Thank you so much for your detailed response,

You have a great idea,

You’re really encouraging me. I really appreciate the help!

If anyone has any more questions or would like more information, feel free to ask!

Regards,

Thanks again,

If you need help managing your genital herpes issues, please post on to my.

Hope this helps,

You really are really reassuring me. I was just about to give my doctor a break when they asked me to take a few days off for a flare-up. He’s been really helpful with my side effects, and I’m not seeing a lot of flare-ups at all. I’m also on Valtrex, so maybe it’s time for another round of Valtrex before I start taking Zovirax?

You really are very reassuring. I really want to start this process right away, but I’m really not sure how long it will take. Is it a long-term issue or something?

You really are reassuring me. I really wanted to share my story with you, but the first flare-up was a flare-up. I’ve been on Zovirax for over a year. I was also taking Valtrex, which was the only medication I’d ever used to manage my genital herpes symptoms. I was surprised at how mild the side effects were. I didn’t feel I was getting much, but I was feeling more confident about it. I’m really not sure why this is the case. I’ve been using it for over a year and a half, and I’ve seen some really positive changes in my body. It’s just that my body is changing, and the more I use it, the less I feel confident about it.

I just wanted to share my story, so that others in the same situation might find a different way to handle this.

It’s so helpful to hear your story, but not sure if it’s the right thing to do.

I know you are aware that there’s an issue with the use of this medication in women, but I don’t know how effective it is.
